Former elected leaders, community organizations and neighbours are standing with Anna Ielo-Tal for Ward 9 Knoxdale-Merivale.
After many years in politics, I know what it takes to be an effective City Councillor. You need energy, determination, strong relationships and, above all, the willingness to fight for the people you represent.
Anna is running for the right reasons. She brings fresh eyes, real drive and the courage to challenge the status quo when City Hall isn’t delivering.
She will be a tax fighter, pushing to keep property taxes as low as possible and demanding accountability for every tax dollar spent.
A councillor’s job is to show up, listen, ask tough questions and get results. Anna understands that residents come first.
This election will directly affect you, your family and your neighbourhood for the next four years. Yet historically, too many people sit municipal elections out.
This is the time to change that. This is the time for change. On October 26, get out and vote.
I’ve made my choice. Now it’s your turn to make yours. I’m proud to endorse Anna Ielo-Tal for City Councillor in Knoxdale-Merivale.
“I grew up on a farm that is now Parkwood Hills, and I know how important strong local representation is for our community. I am pleased to endorse Anna Ielo-Tal for City Councillor in Ward 9, Knoxdale-Merivale. Anna brings energy, determination and a genuine commitment to listening to residents and getting things done.”
City Councillor 1982–1991
Ottawa Mayor 1991–1997
I’ve gotten to know Anna as someone who genuinely cares about her community, listens to people, and believes in getting things done. She brings intelligence, integrity, energy and, importantly, a very personal commitment to the people she hopes to represent.
We need someone who will work hard, listen carefully and bring common sense to City Hall. I believe Anna will do exactly that.
I hope you’ll take a close look at Anna and consider giving her your support. I’m very happy to give her mine.
Our club believes strongly in the importance of community, inclusion, families, and creating opportunities for young people to grow both on and off the field. Youth sports play an important role in building confidence, leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging.
We appreciate Anna’s commitment to our community, inclusivity, and supporting youth sports. These are values that matter deeply to the Riders Family.
We look forward to supporting leaders who recognize the importance of investing in our youth and strengthening the communities they call home.
